Senagapindi Mirapakayalu (Green chillies in Besan)

This Senagapindi Mirapakayalu is very simple to make and can be served as a side dish to go along with simple steaming white rice mixed with a bit of ghee. Spice lovers will love this mouth watering side dish!

Ingredients:
Green Chillies – 10
Senagapindi (Besan) – 1/4 cup
Hing – a pinch
Oil – 2 tbsp
Salt

Method:
  • Wash the green chillies and pat dry on a paper towel. Once they are completely dry, cut them into thin strips like shown in the picture.
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Now add besan, hing and oil. Mix well. Adjust the salt.

Note:
Always add salt to chillies and mix well. Otherwise the mixture will be salty but chillies will be tasteless.
Add little by little oil while mixing. This takes a bit more oil than we can think of.
A pinch of hing goes a long way and makes this delicious.
